Leaked: First Look at John Boyega & Oscar Isaac with Chewbacca On Star Wars Episode: IX

New leaked location photos from Star Wars: Episode IX reveal the first new looks of Resistance Heroes Finn (John Boyega), Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), and Chewbacca. Taken somewhere in England’s Black Park, about 20 miles west of the Capital: London.

Just earlier The Sun revealed several photos from the location, showing the return of Finn, Poe, and Chewbacca. The dynamic duo of Poe and Finn are back together once again, while Chewie is also joining them for this adventure. The team up of Poe and Finn during the beginning of Episode VII: The Force Awakens was a prised element of the film, with the two becoming friends during the escape from the First Order’s Star Destroyer in a TIE Fighter. So another team up of the two is exciting.

Like trying to get a decent clear image of a UFO, they aren’t the greatest quality, but they are clear enough to make something things and some possible Characters. Here’s your first look of John Boyega, Oscar Isaac and Chewbacca from Episode IX:

The reason for Finn, Poe, and Chewie’s travels isn’t clear, but in most Star Wars films the main cast is usually split up for the main and subplots. But as you can see the trio are they not alone. As some of the pictures include a small group of people that could possibly be fellow Resistance members or locals trying to help. There is some speculation that one of the other characters in the group might be Naomi Ackie, but it is too difficult to tell based on the distant photos alone. Another thing you may notice is that neither Poe or Finn are wearing “jacket” that both Characters wore in both The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. It’s possible the jacket was destroyed when the Supremacy was split in two or was left aboard the ship DJ & BB-8 stole.

What is amusing is the sight of horses on set all dressed in fur. But if you notice the heads of the horses they look to have orange tap on them, this could possible be for CGI effects to be added later on to create heads of these animals later on in Post-Production.

This wouldn’t be the first time Characters from Star Wars have used living mounts. With Banthas, Dewbacks, Tantauns and Kaadus being used in both the Original and Prequel Trilogies. Not forgetting that Boga mount thing Obi Wan Kenobi rides in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

Star Wars Episode IX will be released in theatres on December 20th, 2019.
